WEST WALL

The longest wall in the room. The highest ceiling. And yet, still no window. Oh well! The skylight does the heavy lifting in this place.

These are probably the most thought-out collages in the room...

Many of the pieces came from the same place, but their organization has changed 1000 times since I moved here. The desk, having been relocated just as many times, is part of the South wall only because the collage was here first. The desk being placed under it was an afterthought.

This one is particularly curated. It is mostly other artists's work, rather than my own. With the exception of the four piece vertical set immediately right of the mirror, in fact, it is All By Other Artists. Like a true gallery.

You are probably wondering. Where is the bed? Truth is, my bed is utilitarian. I only use it to sleep. Then again, couldn't it be argued that much of this is utilitarian? Well, maybe not in the traditional sense. But it is functional. But it is beautiful. To me. I think things can serve purposes, intended or otherwise, and be conceived without beauty in mind, and become beautiful, or have the potential to.
